Communities In Schools of Rome-Floyd County

Phoenix performance Learning Center (PLC)

The Phoenix Performance Learning Center (PLC) is an innovative high school in that students learn in a non-traditional learning setting with flexible scheduling. Additionally, they must satisfy all of the base high school (Rome HS) requirements. 


There is a selection process for which students must satisfy to be enrolled.

GAIL VEAL - Site Coordinator

Ms. Veal case-manages student progress by closely monitoring academics, attendance, and discipline. 


Also, various amounts of student/family support is provided such as social services linkages, post-secondary/financial aid guidance, individual and group mentoring, and employment assistance.
